P2P lending so you can buy a Mac
You've heard me talk about Prosper before. The revolutionary (evolutionary anyway) new way of borrowing and lending money. Cut out the phat cats at the bank and give direct to your borrowers (this does take some research on your part) or borrow direct from lenders for likely a lower rate than the bank will give you. I've got a few hundred dollars out in it, it works fairly well because if you do your research and because your money is spread out you minimize the risk and maximize your profits. Well a team of Mac oriented people has joined together to created the MacLenders , a Prosper group and organization devoted to lending for the purchase of a Macintosh Computer, though they will loan for other things they tend to lean toward Mac users for lending. I'm a member of another Prosper group right now but if these guys pan out I'd love to support them in their quest to promote Macintosh computing. They offer tiers for how much they will automatically put in for your loan based on your credit, as well as the rates they are willing to accept. I can assure you they are cheaper then Apples Juniper credit card. Again, if you are in the market for a new Macintosh or looking to get into this newfangled P2P Prosper lending, take a peek at MacLenders , they may be able to help you out in that regard.
